Daryn Strauss is a WRITERS GUILD AWARD winning writer, producer, director, and digital media pioneer who has won numerous awards on projects that have garnered over 250 million views for NBCUniversal, Sony Music, AOL, PBS, Digitas, and more. She has produced programs (scripted, social, mobile, and live) that have featured many A-list celebrities including Heidi Klum, Meredith Vieira, Rashida Jones, Andy Cohen, and Gloria Steinem, digital stars such as Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier, and live performances from Timbaland and Betty Who.

Daryn first received notice for her pioneering, critically acclaimed web series Downsized, a dramedy which the Los Angeles Times called “The Best of the Straight-Ahead Dramas on the Web” and garnered her first WRITERS GUILD AWARD nomination. It was also recognized by numerous other publications including Indiewire, Fast Company, Boston Globe, and The Guardian as one of the best series on the web. She took home a WRITERS GUILD AWARD in 2016 for Weight, her comedy about the reality of life after reality TV weight loss, which she created, wrote, and executive produced.

She also developed #DAYOFF, a social media take on Ferris Bueller’s Day Off featuring internet superstars Cameron Dallas, Nash Grier, and Lauren Giraldo (over 3 million+ views) for Astronauts Wanted and Sony Music. She was part of the writing team of the EMMY AWARD winning interactive series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (over 75 million+ views on YouTube). She served as the Programming Director for the EMMY nominated series MAKERS for AOL & PBS, leading an online content strategy for the broadcast of MAKERS: Women Who Make America on PBS (narrated by Meryl Streep), which became the biggest social media activation in AOL history. She also produced and directed the red carpet premiere at Lincoln Center. She has served as a producer for many star-studded Upfront and NewFront events, including producing the digital companion experience to NBCUniversal's 2017 Upfront campaign and event livestream from Radio City Music Hall.

She currently has several projects in development.
